About
Hello. My name is Kristen Hansen and I have been in the film business for over 13 years. As a graduate from Rutgers University with my MFA in acting, I have had the opportunity to perform Off Broadway, Television and Film. I offer my students a great insight into the business in terms of acting and filmmaking, as I am also a working director in film. I am well versed in many acting tequniques as well as a teacher in scene study, monologue, URTA auditions, and classical text.
I am a teacher at heart. It brings me great joy teaching my passion, while exposing my students to the numerous techniques to help them book their acting jobs.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
My typical process of working with a student is figuring out the students goals and needs. I adjust to each students desired schedule and what they are looking to accomplish. If the student is auditioning for a television show or film, we will go over the circumastances of said material. If they are interested in scene study, the student may engage in a longer process, and be exposed to different acting techniques such as Meisner and Hagen that may help them unlock the power of the scene.
