About

LionDrive Baseball was founded on a simple idea: help ballplayers of all levels reach new heights in baseball and life. Our fundamental approach to baseball and softball helps players in hitting, fielding, and throwing through a very sound fundamental approach and signature mental toughness training. Tell Me I Can't.

My favorite aspect of teaching hitting is setting the look on an athlete's face when simple concepts start to make sense on an academic and athletic level. It's so powerful, and I love it!

We have been working with LD now for over a year for Hitting and Pitching. They have helped my 16 YRO son make it to the next level of Travel Club baseball...A nationally sponsored team. His club and high school coaches all know not to try to change anything about him, but to work with his coaches at LD if they think there is a problem. I wouldnt trust my son to anyone else.

LionDrive lessons are hands down the best lessons our son has ever had. The coaches easily spot areas in athletes that are weak spots and design drills that show immediate improvement. They also recognize strengths and use positive reinforcement to motivate their students. LionDrive coaches are not only developing our son’s skills as a player but are also instilling confidence, dedication and respect that translate to his character as a young man. The best part? Our son enjoys his one-on-one lessons, as well as the camps he’s attended, at LionDrive. You couldn’t ask for better training for your athlete!

It is a results-driven program and they have a lot of fun along the way. Over the winter my son increased his exit velocity and throwing velocity. Along with gains came an increase in confidence. He has enjoyed going to every session and cant wait for the next.

My son learned more and got better results from one Liondrive camp than from perhaps years of Slammers instruction. I highly recommend the staff at Liondrive in particular for the level of instruction and how well they motivate and make their students accountable for their progress.

Frequently asked questions

Typically, we start with a 30-minute assessment (whether hitting, fielding, or throwing) to determine any skill gaps, areas of improvement/strength, etc. We will also determine very specific, measurable goals for our work.

After that point, we will typically begin with drills custom-tailored to help achieve said goals through fundamentals, mental toughness training, and increased strength of character.

Each session thereafter will be spent adjusting drills/work based on progress level.

Through a love of baseball, and passing on my knowledge. I have been a student of the game for 28 years, and have a deep passion for passing on what I've learned to others to help them succeed.

All ages from 10-18 years old

Watching one of the freshmen from RCHS begin to understand how their swing works, and implement my advice to greatly improve their hitting.

Find a teacher with whom you are able to translate what they are teaching you into results. There are a lot of baseball teachers out there, specifically for hitting, and it's imperative that you find an instructor that can take their knowledge and explain it in a way that will help you make progress.
