About

I love basketball, and have been involved in it as a High School player, coach, referee, and director of camps and clinics. What I feel separates me from most others is I know from years of experience exactly what coaches are looking for l, what they will do at tryouts, what they value most and how they judge players. I have coached a local high school feeder team for years. In the last year alone I have coached over 100 games at that level. I excel at helping players work on what matters most, and developing their game specifically to play at a higher level. Additionally, I have year of experience in weight training and continuing as well as personal training. I have had success with increasing athletes vertical leaps by amounts that several years ago I would not have thought was possible. In addition to skill development, with almost every player I work on improving their vertical leap, along with speed strength and agility. If you are hoping to make the high school team, wanting to become a starter, or just want to improve your game to play at a higher level than you currently are at, I am the person you want to work with.

I don't just help players during the time they are with me, but I also develop workouts and drills to work on,.when they are on their own. I am finally coaching slightly less and ready to help a few more players take their game to the next level.

Frequently asked questions

The first time I meet with a client, I  spend as much time as I feel is necessary analyzing their strengths and weaknesses, and then discuss what they want to focus on, and what their goals are in basketball. I then formulate a plan tailored to meet their specific goals, strengths, time commitment, etc. in a way I feel will most efficiently help them succeed. I also spend time creating workouts, drills and other training for them to work between each session. I feel this is vital to getting the most out of the process.

I played competitively from a young age through high school. I have run countless basketball camps begining back during my freshman year of high school. Additionally I coach, and do a great deal of player development for the local high school program. I am also a referee at the high school level. I have worked one on one with literally hundreds of indivuals over the years. Finally, I have over 25 years of experience and training in sport specific strength and conditioning.

My pricing varies depending on how long and how often I will be working with a client.

Beginning back in Junior High, I was asked to help coach as well as referee. A year later I  started my own basketball camps with another player on the high school team. After High School, I became very involved in coaching and player development, and have been ever since

As far as basketball goes; I have worked with clients of all ages, however, the vast majority are either currently playing for their high school team, or are in middle school (or high school) preparing for tryouts.

Something that is not as life changing, but a big accomplishment nonetheless, is anytime a basketball player dunks for the first time, particularly if they were nowhere near close to being able to. It is always fun and exciting to see someone's reaction the first time they do.

Even more exciting is seeing a player make their Hihh School team.

If you are willing to put forth effort, there is literally nothing I can't help you achieve. Also take advantage of every resource I have at my disposal. There are so many things I know now that I wish I had been taught back when I was playing. One of the great things about basketball is you can always learn more.

If you are looking to take your game to the next level, I feel my expierence both as a player and now as a coach/mentor has helped me to really gain an understanding of what is most important, and how best to improve those areas.

What their goals are, and what areas oknowof their game they want to improve upon the most.
