About

All in person programs are seasonal packages. Due to the current online offering featuring an exclusive year long mentorship program, they are limited in quantity. Please inquire at Susanyoga.com to check on availability to meet in person.
The unique mentorship program from the convenience of your own personal space is self paced with fort-nightly live coaching support.
This is the program that offers a long term learning experience for upleveling your community and helping you achieve your goals in real time without having to keep finding new ways to improve your life.
That said, the outdoor nature guide work places a unique and custom fit for anyone’s lifestyle to easy paced meditation in nature walks to interval training with hills and breathwork for the epic trip that you may be feeling anxious toward being able to keep pace with a specific group.
A hybrid approach is also available for some locations.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I offer a seasonal package that includes 6 private 1 hour (or 90 minute) sessions. By the end of the first package we discuss what the next step for their goals are and build a custom offering around that, or continue on a fortnightly basis with the 6 seasonally/quarterly sessions if the issue is chronic or the client needs the accountability and support to keep on track with their goals.
At this time, I am only offering private in person sessions through lessons.com.
Group pricing is available for those who already have a group of family/friends/colleagues already formed. Please contact me for details.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
As mentioned in bio, I am an E-RYT 500, with over 1000 hours of specialized yoga training and over 5,000 hours of professional teaching experience. I am a continuing education provider and teacher trainer.
I offer continuing education programs for yoga teachers through Yoga Alliance.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I value transparency and all prices are published on my website.
How did you get started teaching?
By waking up one morning to go to my 9-5 job and realized I am not living what I am meant to do. I started with my own self inqury and followed my heart toward what made me feel good. Built my business from there.
What types of students have you worked with?
Everyone from 3 years old to 80+. We all can benefit from being present in our bodies and moving at the pace of nature. All the better in nature!
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Exploring the wildflowers in my public yoga hikes offered in Sonoma County 2 days ago. I never stop learning and am inspired by the plants and the people that are in my presence everyday.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Ask which level of yoga accreditation have they received from Yoga Alliance (the only governing body currently set to help guide students to a standard of teaching).
Making sure that not only do they have experience, but a consistent daily practice, mentor/teacher, and wisdom beyond the intellectual poses/books.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Why are they looking to yoga to help them?
Finding a teacher that knows that you are your own healer and that the answer to improved health and wellness is within you.
The teacher embodies the practice, wisdom and depth of personal experience and is a positive, encouraging coach to mirror back this inherent wisdom within you to connect with your own.
This is a commitment to your health and is a continual process, not a one time fix.
Commitment to consistent practice is a must for new clients that want to work with me.
I work with people for years, not single sessions for results. You don't just eat healthy for a day or go to exercise once. You keep growing into the most healthy and vibrant version of yourself. Together, with my support, YOU thrive!
