Our experience with Agita has been tremendous. She is kind, patient and invested in her students’ success. She has challenged my daughter to develop and grow in a supportive way, and we’ve seen tangible results in the quality of her flute playing and growth as a musician. I can’t say enough wonderful things about Agita!

Agita is a gracious instructor and a lovely player. As an older student, returning to the flute, I really appreciate her patience! Highly recommended!

Frequently asked questions

In the first lesson we get to know each other.

I find out what are student's present skill level, problems/or desires and goals.

My main goal is to make sure student has the best possible fundamentals, which is the most essential attributes for good sound and technique development.

Scales, etudes, musical pieces and good amount of theory included in the lessons are very important.

I also expect disciplined work and devotion to home assignments and healthy practice, because student/teacher relationship is never "one way street" and consistency is the key in learning fundamentals. That said, I am patient and flexible.

I am a mother of a 10 year old child.

I've been teaching flute since 1996 in my homeland in Latvia. I came to the US in 2006 and ever since have been freelancing and teaching privately in Boston, MA are.
