Cameron's Martial Arts
About
I've been in the martial arts since 2002. I have my 4th degree black belt in Tang Soo Do and have trained in ITF Taekwondo, WT Taekwondo, Jeet Kune Do, Brazilian Jiu Jistu and American Kenpo Karate. I am also an ACSM Certified Personal Trainer. From my experiences in multiple styles, I have crafted a unique curriculum that focuses on tradition as well as practicality and fitness.
Martial arts is everything to me. I train, compete, teach, coach and continue to learn. The best part of teaching is the light bulb moment, that moment when a student understands.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Consultation and implimentation. Your first lesson is free. Test it out and see if it's a match for you.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have worked at six different karate schools, worked as the head instructor at two of those school. I have my 3rd degree black belt and will test for my 4th later this year. In this business, the work speaks for itself more so than certificates.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
My pricing is $40 for a half hour private lesson. My recommendation is doing a lesson per week to keep your skills sharp.
How did you get started teaching?
I was put in martial arts by my father when I was 5. Ever since, all I have wanted to do is make it a career.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with as young as 3 to as old as 50. I have worked with students who have austim, are visually impared and hearing impared. Lastly I have worked with students of all ranks and skill levels. You will never have to ask if I am able to teach you.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Unfortunately, martial arts instructors are a dime a dozen these days and, I hate to say it, but not all of them know what they are doing. The most important question is "can they teach what they know?"
