A Joyful Noise

About

Hello! Thank you for your interest! My name is Gina. I live in Thomasville, NC. I LOVE playing music and especially teaching others. My students range from 5 to 75 years old. As you can see, you are never too old to start learning how to play a musical instrument.

I have been playing music since I was 4 years old. I started with piano then went on to play violin in the 5th grade. I played clarinet, saxophone and drums from 6th through 12th grade and was the Drum Major for 3 years. As an adult, I learned also how to play guitar. I wish everyone would take an opportunity to learn how to play music as it is so relaxing and rewarding in addition to being entertaining for those around us.

I see each student as an individual with their own level of experience and goals they have set for themselves. I do my best to make sure above all else that my students have fun and feel a sense of accomplishment with every lesson. These are the secrets to developing an accomplished musician, who will continue playing for many years to come as well as building a solid foundation and creating a gateway to learning other instruments if so desired.

I give lessons in my home as well as in my students home (for an additional $5 within a 30 minute drive).

I hope you will consider me in getting you or your child started in learning the art of playing music. My first lesson is free and more of a Meet and Greet to see if we are a great fit for each other and to decide on the instruction materials best suited for the student.

I hope to hear from you! 🎵🎶🎵🎶

Gina is truly a gem. My 10 year old was so nervous about a new music teacher and he Loves her! Gina allows the kids to learn music they love and makes it so much fun. She is honest, genuine and I can’t imagine having anyone else teach him ♥️

Truthfully I dont write reviews much but gina is one of the best humans in this world. Not only is she an amazing human but she is very very talented when it comes to music and possibly even better with kids. My daughter cried once when she had to miss a lesson with gina. Watching my daughter grow, coming home playing music for us, and getting to know gina has been my favorite part of this year. I contemplated lying on here because I dont want to share this amazing woman, but truth is if you are thinking about lessons with gina its the best move you will make this year!
