I have over 35 years of teaching, lecturing, and tutoring experience in a multitude of subjects. I am a retired teacher and college professor. I hold a BS, MS, and PhD in different fields. I can tutor from 6th grade to graduate level courses. I can tutor online, phone, email, and in-person. My rates are reasonable and I will try to work within your budget. What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I first listen to what help the student needs. Then I devise a tutoring plan to fit the needs of that student. It works everytime.

I have various degrees plus I have over 30 years of teaching and tutoring experience.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I do not have a standard pricing system for my tutoring seesions. There are many factors involved. My price per hour various on how far I must travel or if the student is coming to me or if we are meeting in the middle. It also depends on the type of subject material and how many hours the student requires.
How did you get started teaching?
I taught for the Board of Education as a teacher. I then moved onward to teaching for the university system including both public and private. I now also do consulting work for various types of business, as well as, training courses for them.
What types of students have you worked with?
Mainly high school and college students. However, I have also worked with middle school students, as well as, online students. On the corporate side, I have worked with different levels of employees.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I won an award from an educational association. I also trained over 700 salespeople from a major corporation on the MS-Office package. I also assisted some schools on making their decision to use G-Suite or Microsoft in their school system. I was visited a few countries to help them with their educational system.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Ask the tutor a few questions about the subject material before you hire them. See if they know the material and how fast they can give you an answer to the questions you are asking.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Figure out exactly what they want you to learn and what you need before talking to your teachers. The more info you have before the meeting, the better the meeting will go.
