About
Hello, my students call me Ms. Elisa! I am here to guide on your music journey!
My own musical journey began when I was 6 years old when I began Piano Lessons.
Since learning Piano I've competed at the state and national level and even got to tour Europe as a young musician representing USA talent (Sound of America Honor Band and Chorus).
After receiving my Bachelor’s Degree in Music at Boise State University I created my own private studio and have been teaching ever since.
Areas of Expertise: Piano, Flute, Voice, Theater, & Pedagogy.
Honors and Awards:
John Philip Sousa Award 1998
Marine Corps Sempre Fidelis Award 1997
Alaska All-State Band 1997-98 (Flute)

Approach:
My approach to teaching is to instill the skills and disciplines needed for the student to maintain their progress and learning independently from their instructor. Which in my experience makes for a much more proficient musician!
Methods:
Kinesthetic methods combined with freestyle creativity, music theory, individual practice disciplines & techniques, accompanying skills, and recital/performance training.
