My Personal training is focused on the over 50 crowd, even though I do have clients in their 30’s & 40’s. I’m certified with the “Functional Aging Institute”. I’m also N.P.T.I. (National Personal Trainers Institute) trained and certified through N.A.S.M. (National Academy of Sports Medicine) the . I also have a Senior certification with N.A.S.M.
I train my clients how I was taught to train clients. There is a conditioning phase that most trainers overlook. Without conditioning your body when starting a workout program you leave yourself open to injuries. I focus programs to prevent injuries. As we age, we don’t heal as quickly as we use to. lol
I enjoy working with mature clients that haven’t worked out for some time or even those who have never worked out but know that there is an Aging process that they are not prepared for.
I enjoy teaching clients how to work out properly to maximize the benefits of resistance training. If you’re going to take the time to do an exercise, get the most out of it. That’s what I do. If you have injuries, we learn how to strengthen and repair and build up all the supporting muscles that surround the injury. There are only two options with an injury; rehab or surgery. Surgery has to be the last option.
