Thinking of my own life’s journey, it’s been a lot
like a flower....a flower will struggle to strive and to bloom to its bloom’s potential. We are all strong and resilient like a flower. Our lives are constantly going through change. My mission is bigger than myself, to help others create their own space by expressing themselves through color.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Depending on the students level and experience, we will work together to accomplish their needs. One on one or small groups.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Please check out my websites and have been in Art for over 25 years. Studied at Yavapai College, Published Artist, gallery representation, Online websites, etc.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Depends on the level of instruction and what you want to accomplish. Some start out in Acrylics and then want Watercolors etc. I have a monoprint press as well and charge more for printmaking. Depends and work with most budgets.
How did you get started teaching?
While attending college I taught a 3 demensions art form that helped to supplement my income. Love teaching and find we learn from each other. Children are really fun because they have no fears and just go for it!!
What types of students have you worked with?
Many different types from children to adult and groups or in senior citizens in their communities.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
For my love of the Arts and passion you will see me at Art Walks, Art & Wine events, Workshops etc.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Look for experienced, diverse, someone that you would like their style and one that is friendly, approachable and kind. My brush will never touch your canvas and believe that your painting is 100% painted by you. I had a teacher take my brush and start painting on my canvas and felt that I couldn't own it.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
What level they want to accomplish, medium, subjects to paint (and suggest to cut up magazines to start your VisionArt, color palette, pictures, etc.). What their budget is, short term, long term goals. Supplies that they already have or would need. I can give a basic list of supplies for beginners that won't break your budget.
