Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First, I want to get to know you! Let's chat about your goals and interests! Then, I make a general assessment to see what knowledge you already have. This assessment will vary depending on the type of lesson you are looking for. If its reading, perhaps I'll give a short spelling quiz on grade level. If it's dance, we'll do some movements to different types of music! I will then tailor our sessions to fit your goals and interests. Regardless, I'll make sure we DO something in each session. I'm keen on making sure my student is actively engaged and not listening to me ramble on.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
BA in International Studies minor in Dance
