About
I am a Christian woman who loves teaching the glorious world of horses to others. I also use the horses to teach many valuable life and spiritual lessons. I also want people to understand horse behaviors and how to partner with their horse. I provide Horseback riding lessons, horse training and desentization.
I love seeing my student grow not only in their ability to work with a horse, but seeing their charcter, soul, self-esteem and passion grow.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to talk to the parents first to get a little background. I also talk to the students to see what experience they have. I then take them to start grooming. As we are doing this I am able to judge how much expereince a student has. I like to do the first lesson on the ground. This allows me to assess where my rider needs support. This also helps to start building a relationship with the horse. I can teach them how to interact with the horse on the ground and a help them develop a working relationship with their horse. The second lesson we will review and start riding.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a PATH Registered Therapeutic Riding Instructor and a Board Certified Music Therapist. I regularly attend continueing education classes and courses. I have taken my own riding lessons and when allowed still take them today. I have also been an barn hand/assistant trainer Sunset Ranch Performance Horses.

I would suggest a studnet look at their years of teaching, expereince and certifications. I would also recommend reading testamonies from past or present student.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
I would encourage parents and students to be open about past expereinces, the students strengths and areas of weaknes. What is your commitment level? Parents does your student want to ride or do you want them to ride? What is the students interest in the lesson? What discipline does your student want to ride? What are your students goals for taking riding lessons?
