I am a veteran, published songwriter with over 20 years experience and numerous single song publishing contracts, with music in motion pictures and television. I write primarily Contemporary Country music, and I also compose soundtrack/underscore music. I am a staff writer for publishers in Nashville and Los Angeles. I am also a member of Songtown, NSAI, the Tennessee Songwriter's Association and I am a pro member in the CMA.

As a songwriting teacher and mentor, I have worked with and helped cultivate numerous beginning to intermediate songwriters. I start out by learning about you. What are your songwriting goals? What is your experience level? What styles of music are you influenced by and what genres do you want to write in? Do you play an instrument? Are you a singer or aspiring artist? What are your songwriting strengths and in what areas do you desire to improve your songwriting skills? What else would you like me to know about you?

I am in the Phoenix, AZ area, but I conduct lessons over Zoom so I can work with songwriters from anywhere.
