Paul Pickering Guitar Lessons
About
My teaching approach:
I have been playing professionally since I was 15 years old, ranging from rock to country to jazz and acoustic. I have formal training in classical and jazz guitar. I currently play around the Phoenix area in two bands. I have a large selection of instruments, including electric, bass and acoustic guitars, a banjo & keyboards. I specialize in helping players break out of the same old patterns and move to the next level, whether their issues are technical, improvisational, or theoretical.
My influences are:
Larry Carlton, Robben Ford, Gary Moore, Cornell Dupree, Barney Kessel, Joe Pass, Adrian Legg, Doyle Dykes, Tommy Emmanuel, Brent Mason, Vince Gill, Albert Lee
