About
I consider myself to be goal-oriented with a strong desire to succeed and work toward outstanding results. I take pride in working hard, embracing challenges and demands that further my growth as a professional and individual. After graduating high school, I immediately found my passion for coaching tennis. I realized the benefit and importance of passing on the skills and knowledge that I learned to other players and mentoring them through hardships on and off the court. While obtaining my degree and competing at the collegiate level, I worked with junior players to help them realize the importance of education and athletics. After 2 degrees, I moved into the private sector to become more in-line with dedicated players who were looking at the same path I followed or were unsure of their path. Through all of this experience, I have learned the optimal coaching styles for all player levels, as well as the ability to adapt to individual players and abilities. I have consistently been using my business degrees to make contracts around the world that allow me to manage and maximize ability of budgeting, recruiting, and fundraising capabilities.
Consider the following highlights of my qualifications:
̈ Leadership/Coaching- Reputation for being a result driven leader who focuses on creating a positive team moral.
̈ Tennis Professional- Utilizes my 20 plus years as a professional tennis player and coach to develop top talent.
̈ Relationship Building- Cultivated solid, trusting relationships with students, peers, parents, and management teams to facilitate top talent. I have been praised for my clear communication style.
Furthermore, I lead by example and demonstrate personal accountability to my team. Over the years, I have demonstrated an ability to build credibility with a wide variety of athletes, as a trusted advisor, coach and strategist. I love working with junior tennis athletes to create a team focused on inclusiveness, psychological safety, opportunity and an environment where everyone can learn and thrive. To do this, the Tennis Instructor must provide insightful strategy, a solid foundation, and ensure training tactics are new and always rooted firmly in maximizing skills, so the athlete is well position to achieve his/her goals
