About

Welcome! I am a Certified and Registered (Yoga Alliance) Yoga Instructor (ERYT) & Barre Instructor I cater to all levels of students with a goal to improve their well being - working around your level of fitness, flexibility, strength and weaknesses (including present and past injuries). Private classes are highly customized. I have extensive alignment and anatomy training as an advanced yoga teacher and fitness trainer (barre) which means I can provide modified poses and exercises for your body type. Currently I am mainly working with people who are suffering from pain caused from sitting at a desk for too many hours a day, with a bad posture (resulting in back pain, frozen/mouse shoulder, text neck, carpal tunnel syndrome and tennis elbow). I've seen a tremendous improvement in their pain relief from doing yoga with them. Other clients I have worked with have pain from old injuries or accidents, like a car accident. I have also worked with a client in a wheel chair, another on chemotherapy and also people who deal with stress on a daily basis. I also teach fun vinyasa style classes for events like Bachorette's parties! Styles of yoga I teach range from Beginner's Foundations Yoga, Hatha, Vinyasa with arm balances, Restorative, Yin and Power. About Me: I began my personal yoga practice 10 years ago, realizing it brought balance to my busy life and conditioned my body for other sports. I took my yoga teacher training at the Spirit of Yoga (Southwest Institute of healing Arts) in 2015. Here I discovered much more than the physical practice of Yoga as I explored the breath (Pranayama) and how the body functions energetically and anatomically. I am currently undertaking my advanced yoga teacher training with a strong interest in Sadie Nardini's Core Strength Vinyasa. Advanced training I have taken includes Prenatal Yoga, Chakra Balancing, hands on assists and adjustments, thai yoga massage. CPR and First Aid Certified Yoga Alliance Registered

Pain management is one of the most important benefits for my clients. It's amazing what the right kind of regular stretching classers can achieve! Through gentle movements, core strengthening and stretches, we eventually build up to standing yoga postures and advanced stretches. Then we eventually advance into all over body strengthening. It's a very rewarding feeling seeing the improvement in their posture and poses, stamina and confidence. My classes give me the opportunity to express my creativity, designing and sequencing each class for a different experience every time.

Frequently asked questions

First, I ask: 1.What are your cross streets? (I need to make sure the price I quoted will cover my costs to come out to you). 2. Then I need to know what days and times you are available for classes. IN this way we can schedule a time that is available for both of us. 3. Based on our first class, we'll see if we are a good match for teacher, student. And we'll book a regular time slot for your sessions! These are the questions I'll ask you during your first session: - What is your yoga experience? - Do you have any pain or injuries? - What are your workout goals? (Usually this is specified in your request.) - How many days a week are you looking to train? - Do you have a yoga mat or do I need to bring one for you? ( I bring yoga blankets, blocks, straps, and some other props to classes.

-I am Yoga Certified & Registered with Yoga Alliance (ERYT) -Advanced yoga studies include: Prenatal, Adjustments and Anatomy, Sound Healing, Chakra Balancing, Touch and Assist Adjustments and Modifications (using yoga props) -I am Barre Certified too

It all depends on the day, time and location of class.

I began my personal yoga practice 10 years ago, realizing it brought balance to my busy life and conditioned my body for other sports. I took my yoga teacher training at the Spirit of Yoga (Southwest Institute of healing Arts) in 2015. Here I discovered much more than the physical practice of Yoga as I explored the breath (Pranayama) and how the body functions energetically and anatomically. When I started teaching private classes, I realized the need for a more therapeutic approach to yoga - as most of my clients were suffering from stress, stiff and painful muscles.

-Cancer patient on Chemotherapy - a previous hot yoga student , who wanted a good workout, paced with rest, stretching periods for her health. -Rock climbers looking to improve core strength but also stretch out tight hips and shoulders -Pro basketball player wanting to stretch tight muscles to prevent injuries - Client with weight issues - Client recovering from a car accident - Clients who have tight and pained muscles from sitting behind a desk for too many hours a day. - Back pain is a very common problem - Text Neck and neck pain

I did a bachorlettes yoga class - all levels vinyasa class and the ladies loved it! We had the class out on their lawn

Make sure the professional understands your specific goals and needs.

Your budget (it's often cheaper to drive to professional, rather than them driving out to you.) Can you commit to regular classes? And how many times a week. If yoga is something you need for you health and well being, where / how can you make time for classes.
