Arts Development School Of Music

Ardes A. earned credits in Graduate Music studies at the Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (SWBTS) in Texas and at the University of Southern California (USC) in Los Angeles, California. He completed his post graduate degrees of Music in piano and education at the College of Music, University of the Philippines (UP Diliman, Q.C.)

Presently, Ardes actively participates with the following organizations:

Music Teachers Association of California (MTAC) where he is a CM Council member, New Materials CM Convention Recital Chair and CM Computer Service Representative

He maintains his membership with the Whittier-MTAC Branch where he is a Contemporary Festival Chair;

Music Teachers National Association (MTNA), the National Music Certificate Program where he is a District III member of the California Association of Professional Music Teachers (CAPMT);

National Guild of Piano Teachers (NGPT) of the American College of Musicians (ACM) where he chairs the Bellflower Center for Piano Guild Audition.

Mr. Abad is officially an MTAC-CM Evaluator and an adjudicator for the National Guild of Piano Teachers (NGPT) and judges other instrumental and vocal event.

As an an experienced musician both in church and school settings, Ardes Abad gives master classes and coaching sessions to students and teachers.

With his years of musical experience, Ardes directs the ARTS DEVELOPMENT SCHOOL OF MUSIC in the city of Bellflower, California where he is a full-time teaching faculty and director. #
