What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Just as I was shown many many years ago, a brief history of the photographic process. What photograph really meands and a few iconic images that have stayed with us since the mid 19th century. Then it's all about hands on. Learning for me was out in the field or hours in the darkroom. Those same teachings I learned I believe will help new or returening students greatly.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Johm Muir Jr High, Burbank High, Burroughs High, Pasadensa City College, The Art Center Pasadena, twelve years in film and photo labs, twenty plus years in the field shooting on set publicity stills, red carpet events, parties, portraits, independant film and more.

$150 is the basic introductory package that involves a casual classroom setting with an emphasis on hands on experience. One day crash course that has worked for hundreds of students in the past get and utilize a strong working knowledge of the craft.
How did you get started teaching?
I was asked one day on set by a model I was shooting and it has grown from there.
What types of students have you worked with?
Young, old, men, women. All types of people really. It isnt about the colr, race or creed. To me it ia all about the learning of the most mazing part of my life that counts.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Taking my 94year old mother out to the country where I went to pick up a motorcycle. Seeing the joy in her face and the rememberances of all her previous experiences is something I cherish.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
You'll know if you have an eye... If its something that needs further explanation, I probably wont be the best instructor. It is a gift one is born with. I am here simply to unleash that ability so you can flourish.
