I have been teaching for over a decade to people of all ages - children and adults, and all levels, beginner to advanced.
I focus on recognizing specific potential in each student and adjusting teaching methods as necessary in order to help them reach their personal goals.
I always strive to challenge my students and to create a comfortable and fun environment in which they can express themselves. My goal is to help them realize their own passion and find motivation within themselves to practice and constantly improve.
I have studied a wide range of styles and have a broad knowledge of repertoire which I introduce to students based on their experience, skill set, and musical interests. Whether your goal is to become an advanced player, be a well-rounded performer, to be able to play your favorite songs on the radio, or just to have fun, we will work together to achieve that.
Teaching is such a rewarding experience because I get to see my students accomplish things they've always dreamt of.
I have a strong passion for music, performing, and connecting with people! Being able to share my knowledge and passion for music with others is a gift I don't take for granted.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
On our first lesson, I bring my own books and photocopies for us to work with. For brand new players, I will start with the fundamentals, and for experienced players, I assess your skill level and what you are interested in playing as we move forward.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
our first lesson is always $10 off! Half hour lessons are $25, 45 minute lessons are $38, and 60 minute lessons are $50. I charge a travel fee of $5 if I am coming to you. I also offer a sibling discount of $5 off if you have multiple children taking lessons!
What types of students have you worked with?
All ages and all levels! I've taught from ages 3 up to 45. Whether you're a young child or an adult beginner, or perhaps an adult just looking to review or enhance your skills, I will work with you to help you achieve your goals!
