What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Talk about what they’d like to learn to cook, what types of cuisines... how they feel about their knife skills, shopping for the best ingredients, ripeness, etc.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I’m a Cordon Bleu graduate w/a degree in Hospitality & Restaurant Managemet, Honor Role. Winner 3 years in a row for Best Cooking Classes in Santa Barbara & 3rd Best Private Chef in LOS Angeles. I worked as a T.A. at the Epicurean School of Culinary Arts, Montana Merchantile Cooking School & did stages all over LA & Europe for the best chefs in the world, as well as worked on the line for Wolfgang Puck in 1990. I’ve been featured for my culinary success on the Food Network, Austrian TV, the Style Network, Hamptons Magazine, LA Times, Seventeen Magazine, ThElite Traveler, Fox News, The X Show on FX, Ocean Drive Magazine Show in Miami, and several other publications. I’ve traveled cooking for my celebrity clients all over the country & the world.

$350.00+ Food/ingredients up to 4 people
$50 each additional pupil. I charge mileage after the first 25 miles.
How did you get started teaching?
I got to assist all of the greatest chefs in LA at the 2 schools I worked at in the early 1990’s. I began teaching people how to prepare modified food diets for wellness & to help cure their diseases & ailments. I’ve trained so many assistants over the years it just became 2nd nature.
What types of students have you worked with?
All ages! 4yrs old- 90yrs.
