Happy Piano

I'm a graduate student at CSUF focusing in piano pedagogy. More than two years experiences working with mostly young children, I have really enjoyed my job. I would build a solid music foundation for beginners. Also, a sound-leading approach to piano teaching is essential for all ages and levels. Train our ear for sound. Look for the sound you want. If a piano teacher only focuses on score and notes, then he misses the most important part of music training. Piano is almost the most difficult instrument to learn. Discipline and perseverance are required. As for parents, you don't necessarily to be a tiger mom, but you have to make sure the kids practice consistently at home. Everyday even for 10 minutes is better than nothing. As long as the parents don't give up, the kids won't give up. Piano is a complete instrument that is good for overall music and mental development. Kids who play piano well almost all do well in their academic achievements. I used to work at insurance company as a sales agent, so I'm pretty good at communication. I would like to work with students from all ages. Right now I have about 15 private students.
