I am an enthusiastic coach who uses posistive reinforcement. I have training equipment that allows me to be able to train on-the-go. I also use Absolute Fitness Gym to train clients at. This gym is located at 1570 Highwoods Blvd, Greensboro, NC, 27410. This gym is excellent location to acheive fitness goals and feeling welcome!
I have a great passion of helping people live a better life through health and wellness. It makes me feel accomplished when I help people get closer to their goals. My favorite thing to teach is boxing. This is because it is easy to learn and results happen during the first training session.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
My first training session is a slow paced assesment based session. This also allows for me and the student to get to know each other more on a personal level. I appreciate making connections with my students.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology (study of human movement) and a Sport Coaching Minor. I have been a strength and conditioning coach for over 10 years. I coached strength and conditioning at NC A&T for 1.5 years as well as UNCG for 1.5 years. I am Strength and Conditioning Coaching Certified by the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaching Association. I am also certified in Olympic Weightlifting. My mentor is Dan Rose whos is a World Champion in Olympic Weighting.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
My price is $30 for the first 30 minutes. People usually use this if they only want boxing lessons. I charge $45 for 1 hour and 15 minutes. This includes strength training, conditioning, and stretching.
How did you get started teaching?
I first learned my passion of coaching during my time in the army. I realized how much I appreciate helping people learn movement wheather it is complex movement like olympic weightlifting or boxing techniques.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have had the privilge to work with a vast population of individuals. I have worked with toddler ages all the way to geriatric ages. I coach a challenger flag football team for special need athletes which is very rewarding to me. I have the ability to connect with all populations!
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I am currently working with Greensboro Parks and Recreation on a project called I can Swim. It allows opportunity for special needs individuals to learn how to swim. It is a great event!
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
It is very important to make sure that the person you are looking to hire has the expertise and knowledge you are seeking.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
It is important for the student to be open about previous experience. It is also important for the student to think about personal goals before contacting a coach. The coach needs to have a clear understanding as far as what the student goals are.
