I have always been a coach and athlete, specifically baseball and started personal training with free weights 20 years ago with the goal to teach others how to do it correctly and avoid injuries while having fun and learning the joy of working out and getting results.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with beginners, the elderly, the morbidly obese, men, women and teenagers and many different types of clients.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I enjoy watching a good LA Dodgers game!
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Understand right off the bat that fitness and health and a nice physique does not happen over night. It starts with the decision to make changes and to be consistently persistent in your voyage to better health. You didn’t get out of shape overnight and you won’t get in it in 30 days. Plan on a good solid year of effort to see lasting results.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
What is your #1 goal. How much time daily do you have to workout? How committed are you at this point in life to change your habits for the better?
Are you serious about your time spent as much as I am in helping you?
