Elena V. Ganjoula was born and raised in Moscow, and has spent a lifetime in music. At the age of four, she was chosen to study at the prestigious Gnessin School of Music, a Mecca for musically gifted children, studying piano and music theory as well as academic subjects.

Miss. Ganjoula gave her first public performance when she was five years old. At age Fourteenth she won First Place and the Grand Prize in the Moscow National Competition of Music Schools and later performed as a soloist with various distinguished orchestras. Upon graduation, she was accepted at the Gnessin Institute, under the tutelage of the renowned Professor Oleg Boshniakovich (recipient of the People’s Artist of Russia Award) and received her Master’s Degree in Music.

Relocating to Los Angeles in 1995, Miss. Ganjoula was immediately extended invitations to perform as a soloist with orchestras and ensembles. Welcomed into the Music Teachers Association of California, she also embarked upon a teaching career, accepting promising young students in various music academies and conservatories. Her pupils won awards at competitions and festivals throughout California.

Miss. Ganjoula recorded her first solo CD, in collaboration with the respected composer John Tesh: “Classical Music for a Prayerful Mood”, released for Mother’s Day under Tesh’s Faith MD Music Label. The remarkable performance features the romantic works of Russian composers Rachmaninov, Borodim, Lyadov and Tchaikovsky.

Composer Christian Young, known for his spectacular motion picture scores, invited Miss. Ganjoula to perform the piano part for the soundtrack of Spiderman 3, recorded at Sony MGM Grand Studios.

Miss. Ganjoula’s outstanding career has even embraced performances for royalty. She was engaged to play for The Grand Dame of Japan, Princess Susan of Croatia, His Grace Michael Schmickrath, the Duke of Gardham, Princess Stephanie of Belgium, Prince Paolo of Brazil, Princess Farouk of Egypt, Prince Hugo of Russia, among other dignitaries, on the historic Queen Mary in Long Beach, California.
