I offer bass guitar lessons in and around Orange, CA,. The first lesson is free of charge so that we can assess whether or not the student-teacher relationship is a good fit.
Lessons may include basic technique, theory, style, and improvisation. I seek to help each student discover and develop their musical voice.
A bit about me: I started playing bass when I was 13 with zero knowledge of the instrument. Over ten years of experience later, I look back on the many different contexts I've played in (e.g. rock bands, jazz ensembles, professional touring, house bands, sheds, churches, etc.) and recognize that bass lessons were an essential part of my early development as a musician. I now want to offer the same formative experience to you or your child.
