About
The reason I became a coach was to give back to my community just as all the coaches did. It makes me happy to see kids loving the game just as I do and I feel awesome knowing I can help improve their skills in all aspects of the game. Baseball has been a big part of my life for 30+ years and counting, with success in all levels, I'm here to pass on the knowledge that I've learned. Through little league I was fortunate to be an all-star every year, win a few championships and MVP awards on several occasions while playing all positions. In high school, I was a four year Varsity player, winning 2 championships and received all-league player honors as well, playing infield and pitching. I came into college as a starting pitcher, after 1 season a shoulder injury sidelined me for a few years. I made my return to baseball coaching my son and shortly after began playing again myself. My sons team has been to the championship in 2 of 3 years and won once. My adult team has won 3 consecutive championships.
Seeing the improvement of players and the smiles on their faces is a big reason why I do this. Knowing that every player is different, I try to set specialized drills for each specific kid.
