Derek Dossey Guitar Lessons

My teaching approach: I try to find what motivates a student the most. Learning songs, theory, chords, jamming or soloing, creating a lesson plan that benefits them the best. I have a degree in music from SDSU and use what I was taught there in my lessons. I also bring over 15 years of professional playing in San Diego, Orange County and the greater southwest to help with performance, recording and showmanship. My influences are: All tasteful guitarists.My guitar lessons take place in: The student's home. Guitar Lessons with me take place in the following areas: With in 10 miles of San Clemente/Dana Point/Laguna Niguel. Guitar Techniques: Scales and Exercises, Song Writing, Recording and Production, Guidance In Equipment Selection, Lead guitar, Rhythm guitar, Performance, Jamming Skills, Music Theory.
