I tailor my lessons to the level of the student. I do my best to keep the lessons relevent and interesting for the student. The Speech Level Singing technique is so effective you will see results in minutes, not weeks or months. I recently had a male, rock singer, who studied with another teacher for two years and never experienced a mix or a head voice. We did it in 15 minutes! In two half-hour sessions, he was singing with ease.
I love playing and teaching the guitar. It is my lifes passion. I love working with voices and being a part of their development. I don't care how good or bad a singer is when they come to me. I get excited when I hear the progress we make at each lesson and as the voice develops over time.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I assess the students skill level. I determine what the students goals and musical intersts are. I then try to gear the lessons to meet their goals and interests.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have have done years of private study. I have also been a professional musician for over 30 years. I have performed in numerous bands, recording sessions, etc.

$30 for 30 minutes
$45 for 45 minutes
$60 for 1 hour
How did you get started teaching?
My wife started Norwood Music Studios. She is a vocal teacher. I saw how much she enjoyed teaching and I thought I would do it as well.

I have worked with all levels and age groups, from kids to grandparents.
