About

My passion for theater, film and television acting can be seen in the 35 years I have actively participated in the field. My desire to learn and be the best is demonstrated by receiving my PhD from UCLA's School of Theater, Film and Television.

My experience as an adjunct professor in Los Angeles teaching at Cal Poly Pomona, University of Redlands, CSU, San Bernadino, USC and UCLA gives me a deep seasoned understanding of the historical, political and social influences that affect theater production and performance. Also, I understand the level of talent and experience necessary to land Main Stage Roles at the University and Jr. College levels as well as on the professional stage.

I have professionally directed over 40 theatrical productions across the United States. I have produced over 75 1/2hr. cable television programs with Access Sacramento Channel 17&18 Comcast.

I have acted and performed in over 50 productions. I have scripted a one-person show, toured for 7 years performing across the United States.

I have directed, produced and filmed Independent films, commercials, trailers and infomercials.

I began teaching as an undergraduate student.  I started teaching after-school drama classes at elementary schools in South Sacramento and Rancho Cordova.  While attending UCLA I began to work with actors performing film and sitcoms as well as theatrical productions.

I have worked with all levels and types of personalities and abilities.

I believe actors should be aware that some acting coaches use a technique of breaking down the actors emotional ties.  These coaches use intimidation, sarcasm and other modes of degradation.  I don't believe any type negativity helps build confidence and talent.
