About
Playing violin for most of my life in a wide variety of genres and settings, I have 7 years of experience teaching students ranging from 4 years old to adults, specializing in improvisation and helping students discover their own voice.
In addition to classical training, I have taught and performed bluegrass and old-time fiddle, Middle Eastern music, jazz, rock, and Celtic music.
I use games, yoga, and a variety of methods to teach the basic techniques you would get from the Suzuki method to empower your own musical voice. I use a patient, student-honoring, fun style of teaching that nourishes and renews the natural creativity I believe is present in everyone. No matter how young or old you are - you can get started on a lifelong journey of loving the beautiful sounds you create today!
