Hi everyone, my name is Peter DeLuke. I was a given a gift and talent in Music. Nothing makes me happier then sharing and offering my passion for music with you. I have been performing since I was 9 years old. For the last 35 years I have playing and performing profesionally as Keyboardist and Vocalist. included in that time, I have been signed to a Record Label, played on and completed several Record Albums and completed three National Tours. I am an accomplished Songwriter, Arranger, Producer and Music Instructor. Learning about and studying Music can be so much fun, but you must be dedicated and willing to put forth the time and effort to learn how to play. The biggest commitment is practicing. You must be willing to find the time and dedication to prepare on your own and be ready for each lesson. I am a very patient person and I believe that taking your time to learn how to play a Musical instrument also requires a patient and understanding Student. I promise to give it my best to teach you how to play the Piano and/or Keyboards. In return, I ask for the same efforet from my students. The number one reason why I decided to make Music my life is because it is fun. Learning should also be fun and what I offer my Students is the opprtunity to have fun.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Each Student is different, so age, experience and knowledge are crucial factors in the teaching process. I work with younger Children all the way up to middle aged Adults. Each Student has a different amount of natural ability and desire to learn, but you must be willing to make a commitmen to practice. I start out by mutually setting goals. Once we have achieved a game plan, we are reday to begin.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I began studying Music at the age of nine. In studied Piano, Trumpet and Voice Lessons. I earned a Bachelor Of Science Degree in Criminal Justice and Studied Law in Graduate School. My thirst and desire is to learn and study about so many different things, but my passion is Music. My Father is an accomplished Music Instructor, Conductor and Performer. He passed these qualities on to both my Brother and I. Music is and always has been the Family Business.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I do not have a standard pricing system. I would like to think that I am flexible and can work with almost any reasonable budget. If I have to travel to you, then I will charge more, but if you come to my Studio my fees will be less.
How did you get started teaching?
I began as a Substitute Teacher filling in at different Schools for other Piano and Music Instructors. I have not pursued a permanent position, because I still perform and play professionally. I also tour Nationally, so teaching privately still allows me the time to dedicate to my students as a well as continuing with my own career in Music.
