PGA Professional with tenures at exclusive private clubs, such as Sawgrass Country Club and Jacksonville G&CC, and serving as PGA National Director for nine years. Has taught extensively to aspiring collegiate and professional players, while assisting them navigate the world of junior golf. Was founder of the Titleist NFPGA Junior Tour. Notable clients have included Len Mattiace, 2003 Masters runner-up, Bubba Dickerson, 2001 US Amateur Champion, and Jeff Klauk, PGA Tour Player. Teaching style and philosophy is one of an originator thus working closely with individual styles and preferences, while developing shot making dependability and improvement. Played Ben Hogan Tour throughout Club Professional career, and tournament victories included NFPGA Chapter Championship in 1990.
My preference is to coach dedicated young players with highschool, college and professional aspirations.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Schedule a meeting for an initial evaluation both with junior player and parent, which includes a ball-hitting session and tour of the facility.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Life Member of the PGA of America, and Founder of the NFPGA Titleist Junior Tour. Conducted thousands of individual lessons, and develped several college scholarship golfers along with PGA and LPGA Tour professionals
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
As opposed to many, I will gladly develop a custom cost program based on the time and ambitions of the student. Normally a 2-hour session for $80.
How did you get started teaching?
Began playingg golf at age 7, and had a successful junior career. Turning professional after a college career, was able to teach at several prestigious pprivate Clubs across the country. Mentored by hall of fame legends, Ken Venturi, Jack Grout and Henry Cotton.
What types of students have you worked with?
All types but preference is aspiring young players.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Select a dedicated Coach with both exppereince in instruction and also a good personal playing resume.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Can you assist with deveoping a playing resume and tournament planning, as a prep foor a college career.
