About

I cater to the needs of your child/the individual. I have the ability to ensure you/ your child has the ability save his/her own life in case of an emergency. It's not only about saving their lives but it also can provide a therapeutic environment for them. During this pandemic a lot of us overlook the mental/emotional impact it has had on the kids and us. By being active and working their/ your minds in a different can provide stimulation. Leading to less behavioral outbreaks and calmness. I take my job seriously. Whether that be from infants to an adult. We will move at the pace desired.

Julie is a top notch instructor! I hired and trained her several years ago while working for a retired Olympian in Los Angeles. She is reliable, professional, patient, and kind! Many swim instructors have knowledge in stroke development and water safety, but are not experienced working with children. Julie is the complete package!

    Frequently asked questions

We will begin by evaluating the level of skill the client may be at. Followed by the emotions they take into the swim lesson. Finally, we will discuss any limiting factors that could possibly restrain the swimmer from excelling.

I have many years of training and working in the swim lesson business. I started in 2015 and proceeded to move around LA county and Orange County. I have the ability to teach children of all ages and who are also on the spectrum or struggle with any other disabilities.

I have kept up with my certification in CPR throughout the years.

I have participated in the Olympic development program for 7 years.

Was a Junior lifeguard for 7 years.

I have also played water polo and swim for 11 years.

Lastly, I have taught swimming for 5 years.

    30 min lessons - $55

    60 min lessons- $100

I understand my price range is pricy but I have confidence in my training and hold myself up to high standards. I have to consider the amount of miles I would have to travel. You will be getting your money's worth.

I've always loved being in aquatics programs. It provided a family and safe place for me. Being able to participate and have the skills are important to me. I believe that everyone should know how to swim even if it's not competitively.

Children on the spectrum- adults with autism

There is no specific event I am fond of. What I enjoy is seeing my swimmers improve each lesson.

I would recommend you take into consideration the amount of experience each teacher has. Especially with babies, if the teacher seems nervous or scared to handle a baby it may offset your child into feeling unsteady which will result in crying. Or sometimes your child may just not want to go with a new person and experience separation anxiety. I'd advise that you allow the teacher to do their job and not try to comfort the child. By approaching the teacher in the middle of a lesson in hopes your baby will stop crying will only make matters worse because you are showing the child that they can't trust being alone with the teacher.
