Steven McMillan Trombone & Piano Lessons

Hello there!

I am a professional full time Trombonist. At the same time, teaching has always been a big part of who I am - I love teaching. I also do have a music teacher certificate. I feel very confident teaching Trumpet up to advanced level, but only beginner level for Piano. I would love to work with some of the younger students not only on learning to play the Piano but also about the joy that music can give you!

My experience teaching goes many years back. In addition to years of teaching music I also have experience teaching Hebrew.

I specialize in Jazz and improvisation, Classical technique, and preparing for auditions. I am also very familiar with various musical styles including Latin music, Blues, Jewish music etc. If you have any specific goals I am sure we can find a way to work towards them.

I have a sliding scale for lessons depending on the lesson length, location, etc.
