Ms. Lara was born and raised in Tashkent, Uzbekistan (former USSR). From a very early age, she studied art and piano until she graduated from high school. Her father was an architect-engineer, and she remember him always drawing and sketching buildings, bridges and streets. She has developed a deep passion and love to drawing and sketching ever since.She immigrated to USA and had to stay away from painting and focus on making the ends meet, but her passion for art has lived in her heart. In 2013 she was able to resume her art education in Foothill college first and then privately from Svetlana Semenova (National Academy of Visual Arts and Architecture, Kiev,Ukraine), Paul Khosrow Azarpour (San Francisco Academy of Arts) and Ilya Shkipin (San Francisco Academy of Arts). Now she is working on her Master of Liberal Arts Degree at Stanford. Her goals are to teach art to pass on her knowledge and experience to the younger generations, as well as opening her own permanent art gallery.
