My Name is Sean Walbrink. I am a graduate from Musician's Institute in Hollywood, CA with an AA degree in percussion and music business. I've been teaching for over 10 years locally in the south Orange County area. In addition to teaching I also play in bands and compose music for Youtube. I've been a touring and recording artist for over 20 years as well. Basically, I know what I'm doing.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I charge $180 and that includes 4 half hour lessons, homework emailed after every lesson and video during the lesson if necessary.
How did you get started teaching?
started teaching kids of friends and then worked at a private school for 9 years teaching guitar and drums.

All Ages from all different backgrounds and every skill level.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Make sure they are nice, experienced and mindful of the journey that you are on. I would also say invested in your growth as a musician.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
What do I hope to accomplish during my lesson? Where would I like to be 3-6 months from now? Is this person capable of meeting my musical needs?
