My teaching approach: My style of teaching is all about helping students to play music they like ASAP and having lots of fun doing it. Most students want to learn songs by their favorite artists, so that’s what we do. I do not use method books. I have thousands of song transcriptions done by myself over the last twenty-five years. You name it, I have it. If a student wants something I don’t have, I learn it on my own time and provide it. I do help some students with theory, sight-reading, improvisation and song writing. However, as I said, most students want to learn songs. My methods have been proven to be an effective and enjoyable way to master all the elements of good musicianship.
