Dr. Miluna's Voiceworks!
About
I have been in love with the Voice for as long as I can remember! I teach with the perspective and experience of someone who has years of experience both as a performer and as a singing, acting, and voice coach.
My approach is holistic - meaning physical, emotional, mindset and spiritual must all be aligned and coordinated for successful, fulfilling singing, public speaking and performing!
My lessons are fun and challenging and I am kind and sensitive. Tough is not my style. We work together with your goals and dreams as my primary focus.
My training includes a B.S. in Music Business, Certifications as a Voiceworks Associate and Level 3 (the highest) Somatic Voice teacher, a PhD in Holistic Psychology, as well as my own private training in voice for too many years to mention here!
It is a pleasure to see the joy in my students as they discover the colors and magic within their own voice and self expression.
Singing and acting teach us so much about ourselves and we gain self confidence and self mastery during the process.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I recommend a Complimentary 20 minute phone call to talk about your goals and dreams and to discuss if we should work together.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Years of experience both as a professional actor and singer as well as extensive training in singing, acting, and the voice.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Monthly tuition programs for private 1-to-1 singing, voice and acting instruction.
How did you get started teaching?
My own teachers encouraged me years ago to take all of my training and professional experience and teach. They let me know that there are many unqualified Voice teachers out there, and that I could be a part of the solution.
What types of students have you worked with?
From children to adults, beginners to working pros.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Watching Earth, Wind and Fire perform live on the top of the Forum float for the 2018 Rose Bowl Parade!
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Make sure that the teacher has real working experience. A teacher who has not performed for the public does not have a complete understanding of what it takes to be a really exceptional performer.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Know why you are taking lessons. What do you want to accomplish? Are you willing to practice and invest time in applying what you learn? What kinds of personalities do you find work best with you?
