I believe whole person running is the best approach- combining mind, body and spirit. The fully integrated runner, both in terms of body and mind, making it a practice for personal and athletic growth. I use psychology and peak performance for the mind and advanced breathing and body alignment techniques. I am a USATF Certified Coach and tai chi/chi gong teacher with a Masters in Counseling Psychology. I offer coaching for individuals and groups of all ages.

I also offer life coaching for those who wish, drawing upon my therapy experience, Masters in Counseling Psychology, and previous life coaching experience. Check out my coaching philosophy below to get a better sense of how I work.

I love helping runners and people become not only better at their craft but better at life. I guide runners to an injury free, pleasurable, and relaxed place. I shift my clients into a paradigm of faster, effortless, and joyous running. Runners and people in general learn about themselves in a way that directly improves performance as well as self awareness.

I help life coaching clients become clear about who they are and what they want. As we uncover their highest values and goals, we work together to create a life in alignment with that. I work to help keep clients accountable to those values and goals and support them in making the changes they want to make.

I always start with a complimentary running date. It is an hour long opportunity to get to know one another while learning a skill we'd take for a run. We'd discuss goals and motivations and map out what a good training sequence would look like. After a complimentary running date, I work in packes of 13 weekly hour long sessions.

I am a USATF Certified Coach with an MA in Counseling Psychology and a certification in Tai Chi and Chi Gong. My background allows for mind and body training far beyond what any running coach can offer. Runners can expect to learn advanced skills designed to make running safe and sustainable in the long term; gain peak performance skills designed to make running more enjoyable, relaxed, and fast; and prevent injuries and improve general quality of life through skills resulting in the ability to effectively be one's own massage therapist. Many clients report substantial personal growth and the ability to face all aspects of life with far greater aplomb, clarity, and effectiveness. 

I start with a complimentary run date followed by a 13 session package priced at $1365. My elite pricing is for athletes or casual runners who want long term skills to impact every aspect of their running- mind and body. These skills take a full season to develop, thus 13 sessions.

I began coaching about five years ago while I was a therapist working with kids of all ages. I realized that I wanted to help people learn and grow in the context of running and the outdoors rather than simply within their mind in an office. 

I've worked with athletes of all ages and skill levels. My most advanced runner nearly qualified to the Olympic Trials for the Women's Marathon, and some runners had never run before in their life. I've worked with kids as young as 13 to develop their running skills for soccer, rugby, and track and cross country. My oldest client was in their late 60's, looking to extend their running into their 70's.

One recent success I has was with two runners this spring. One year ago, they had run a very difficult tough mudder course, covering it in a bit under 4 hours. Following that race, they were exhausted and took some time to recover and feel good again. After some work with me, they tackled the race again- improving their time by one hour and feeling great during and after the race.
