About

I have been a personal trainer now for over 11 years. It was my dream job since high school and has become everything and more to me over the last 11 years. I have completed 5 different certifications while amassing well over 12,000 sessions serviced. I help people of all ages and conditions from young athletes to seniors. No matter what your goal may be, I can help you achieve it! I take what I do very seriously but at the same time work to make it fun for everyone. My goal is to impact as many people as I can for the better and look forward to every opportunity to have a great impact on someone else's life.

I love that I get to impact others in a positive way on a daily basis. The relationships you get to build with amazing people makes this so much fun to do. When you see someone having success utilizing what you showed them and the excitement on their face makes this the best career you can do in the world.

Frequently asked questions

I start everyone with a FREE fitness assessment to determine where their fitness level is.  I use this information to develop the best plan possible to help them see results.  The assessment is normally 30-45 min and includes:

Discussion- We go over your fitness history, nutrition, schedule, goal, injuries, health issues etc.

Assessment- A quick workout of no more than 10 minutes where I actively watch for any muscle imbalances that could be detrimental to the clients success going forward along with testing key factors that could impact your goal specifically.

Cool Down- I stretch the muscles I found to be a problem area as an example of what we will be working on.

Recommendation-  At the end I will sit down with you and recommend the best plan to help you get results.

Schedule-  We begin to crush your goals by getting you on a consistent schedule.

Trainer 24/7-  I am your trainer 24/7 contact me via text or email any time you have questions or concerns.  I go above and beyond to make sure we CRUSH whatever your goal may be.

I have done 5 certifications in my career and have been developed by some of the brightest minds in the industry.  I help clients of all ages, sizes and health condition as I feel EVERYONE can benefit from a healthier lifestyle.  The certifications I have done are:

NASM PES (Performance Enhancement Specialist)

NASM CPT (Certified Personal Trainer)

ISSA SSC (Specialist in Strength and Conditioning)

ISSA CFT  (Certified Fitness Trainer)

CrossFit Nutrition

I am always researching and testing new effective methods on myself before even having a client try it to make sure it is safe before hand.

I typically sell sessions in packages of 10, 20 and 40 for my 60 minute, 45 minute and 30 minute sessions.  The rates vary on how many you commit to at one time and the location we are meeting.  I can give an exact recommendation once we have completed my FREE assessment.

Having always been interested in sports since I was old enough to walk they had always piqued my interest.  When I was a sophomore in High School, my football coach had one of his former players visit during our conditioning class one day.  He was there to help teach us how to do cleans and other movements.  Before leaving he described what he did for a living which was being a Personal Trainer.  When I heard this I was floored that this was even a possibility and I became obsessed with wanting to be a Trainer one day.  After 25 job changes before the age of 22 I finally got the chance to study my first certification and jump into the career I had always wanted.

I have had clients between the ages of 11-79 with a variety of different goals and conditions like:

Weight Loss

Weight Gain

Thoracic Outlet Syndrome

Fibromyalgia

Osteopenia

Osteoperosis

Type 1 Diabetes

Type 2 Diabetes

High Blood Pressure

Mental Health Disorders

Athletic Performance

Injury Prevention

Injury Rehab

Cancer Patients

Overall Health

Endurance

The list can go on and on, there are not many situations I have not come across and if there is something I have not experienced I research until I become an expert on it so I can best help my client reach their goals both safely and efficiently!

I have too many to pick from over the years so here is some notable success clients have had working with me:

Lost 50 pounds.

Minor League Baseball Player moving up a level the following season after working with me gaining 25lbs of muscle.

A senior with Thoracic Outlet Syndrome (a condition that pinches a nerve in the neck and cuts off feeling the the hand/arm affected) through consistent training went from barely being able to pass a plate without dropping it to confidently being able to do day to day.  Also saw a 20% increase in bone density positively affecting her Osteopenia.

A marathon runner shaving 7 min off her marathon time even after being a runner consistently for years.

A female client who wanted to join the army but could not do one push up was able to pass the test with flying colors after just a couple months.

A stage 4 cancer patient in their 60's has been able to keep their cancer under control during consistent exercise and improved recovery time after treatments.

Please feel free to ask for more when we meet!

I would make sure that they understand that not all certifications are one in the same.  Some are harder to get while others will certify in a day.

Make sure your trainer is not on their phone at all during sessions unless to take video with your permission.

Trainers can have a degree and still be terrible.  Be cautious.

Make sure you can get along with who you choose, you will be meeting with this person 2-3 times a week for the foreseeable future.

Know what you want to accomplish and communicate it clearly so the pro can have a better idea of how to help you.

DO NOT BASE IT JUST ON PRICE!

Every trainer SHOULD be certified in some capacity.

Make sure they act and dress professionally.

Looks fade, knowledge grows.  Do not base a choice on who to work with just by looks, everyone is different and what works for one person to get those kind of results may not work for you.  Fitness is far from 1 size fits all.

Punctuality is important, once you scheduled a time with a trainer it is then your time and they should respect that.

Make sure you are comfortable with the plan they have for you.

What is my goal?

Is it realistic?

Why is this important to me right now?

How many days a week can I commit to making that happen?

Am I willing to do whatever it takes to reach my goal?

What time of day can I consistently workout?

When am I going to be ready to start?
