Tumbling Lessons
About
I've been coaching tumbling for seven years and cheerleading for five. I began my coaching career in power tumbling and trampoline, then gymnastics, where I specialized in floor and vault. Finally, I discovered my love for all-star cheerleading and came to California to join the best of the best. While most of what I teach is cheer-oriented tumbling, I also have experience in stunting, dance, and acro.
I'm USASF Certified to teach tumbling levels 1-7, and I give detailed progress updates after each lesson, so you always know what we're working on. I believe in a body-before-skill approach and implement injury-preventative warm-up, mobility, and conditioning exercises.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We always start with a thorough warm-up, then I assess basic skills and discuss short and long-term goals. I formulate a plan for the first lesson and break the long-term goal into smaller, more manageable milestones. At the end of each lesson, I assign conditioning homework to address specific physical needs and communicate progress with parents.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
All of my lessons are booked and paid for through full slate: https://caliontario.fullslate.com
Half-hour tumbling lessons cost $45 while a full hour is $80.
What types of students have you worked with?
I've worked with athletes of every age and skill level. The majority of my clients are all-star and high school cheerleaders, but I have experience coaching stunt, dance, and acro as well.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Tumbling is a complex set of skills, and everyone learns differently. Find the coach that helps tumbling make sense and makes you feel like you can accomplish your goals.
