I give a 90 minute lesson for $50 to get results that day and you can decide if you want to move forward from there. I am old school without computers and trying to make you Tiger Woods with spine angels on the first lesson is crazy, so watch out for those guys. I want to make sure you know how to grip a club and keep you balance with a beautiful relaxed swing before we move on to anything more difficult. I suggest you try a few instructors to find one who can communicate with you you in a way you understand, but if your a beginner you do not need someone with all the techy computers to start. I can pick out your flaws in very short time and they all start from the same thing on everyone.
You will be able to walk down a driving range line or on the putting green or chipping area and quickly pick out players mistakes.
After a few weeks We will have a full day playing lesson to learn golf ediquette, how to set up for different shots and then execute. All the things we will have talked about in your learning process. Two parts to performing a proper shot 1 set up and 2 execution.
It takes maybe as little 5 min to correct something that will improve your game for a lifetime. Do not be afraid to change it is the only thing that can improve your game.
We will hope to improve at least one phase of your game every lesson if it be how to chip, flop, drive , or putt that can knock strokes off your game. Sacrifice a few green fees to help pay to play better. Changing clubs every week will not solve anything if you use the same swing/process.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Talking about there game and what they have done to improve it so far. Why are they having trouble. "Golf is a game of firm relaxation" Have you heard that before?
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
playing 50 years with all types and shapes of players. No we start from the beginning which sets up the whole process. Do you know where the beginning starts? We will not start two lessons ahead of where your game is at this moment. Allot of teachers do not start st the beginning and review what you know. They assume too much in the beginning.

No I will let each person decide. I do not do this to make a living I do it to help people enjoy their golf so they can see just how fun it is when the ball goes where you aim it.
How did you get started teaching?
While I was playing all my friends or people I played with would ask for help and I would make a few changes while we played and their scores improved on the next holes or round of golf.
What types of students have you worked with?
All types but like to work with 7 handicapper up. I find that Lower than that is usually all mental.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Everytine I tee it up we have the opportunity to learn something new. There are an unlimited amount of shots to be played and I love to make up new ones depending on the situation. Anyone can chip it back in the fairway!
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
If you have taken lessons and cannot find someone who can explain what you are doing wrong in a way you really understand them, it is time to move on.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Most of your questions will be answered as we move forward without having to question your self in advance. We want to start with a positive attitude.
Keep in mind golf is a sport that takes physical abilities. We can teach the process but if you are not corordinated or a physical person only you can determine how you can improve on your ABILITY to play Golf. The best teachers cannot swing the club for you but only show you how.
