About

Hi! My name is Sara Judge. I have been performing and playing guitar for over 20 years. I am a guitar teacher that focuses on a combination of technique, learning to read music, and most importantly harnessing your creativity. I find out what my students are passionate about and tailor lessons to fit their needs and help them fulfill their goals.

I am an accomplished songwriter and can help students interested in songwriting get started, develop their techniques, learn how to arrange their song, and perfect their own style.

I first started teaching acting to teens at the Walnut Street Theatre in Philadelphia. I am trained as an actress and have won awards for my performances (Entertainment Slam 2006, PACT Festival 2007, SF Frozen Film Festival 2009 and 2010 Best Musical Performance). I am currently the Director of the Youth Film Program with the San Francisco Frozen Film Festival.

I am a member of the Playwrights Center of San Francisco and a member of Theater Bay Area.

I have directed over 30 plays in Philadelphia and San Francisco. I work with professional actors to help them make the best use of their instruments--the voice and the body.

I love working with children, teens, adults, and Seniors--anyone who has the passion to work on their craft and hone their skills (while having fun!). My style is open, fun, and student driven. My goal as a teacher is to equip you with the skills you need to reach your goals as a guitar player, a songwriter, a performer, and/or an actor. I teach private individual lessons, small groups, and scene study classes.
