Sharifa has taught all varieties of Middle Eastern Dance for 40 years. She still performs solo and with her folkloric dance troupe. She teaches 3 classes per week plus private classes. Sharifa has studied in Morocco, Turkey and Egypt. She has traveled and taught workshops in Mexico New Zealand and Australia. She produced two instructional videos.

I love to see my students develop confidence, self-esteem and empowerment as they develop agility, grace, and comfort in their bodies. They develop relationships with the other students, attend performances and parties, and enjoy their new hobby. This dance is social, cultural and divinely feminine.
