About

Hi! I'd like to help you learn how to dance! I love teaching and growing artists in the world of dance training! I use a highly specialized dance program designed to help each student promote a healthy lifestyle, excellent life skills, artistry, technical ability, determination and passion.

Ive been dancing for 20 years At Christian Performing Arts Center, Honolulu Dance Studio, Pas De Deux dance studio and others. My teaching experience is 10 years+ (Ages 3-Adult) with a specialty for special needs children.

I teach Ballet, Tap, and Jazz with a proficency level of Beginner through advanced technique, building muscle coordination, style, strength and skill to transition from the amateur to professional settings if desired.

I create a fun environment for each student, structured, orderly and inviting where each student gets to excell at his or her own pace.

I started teacher training at my home studio while I was still in Highschool. From there I worked in local studios, churches, private events and clients which has given me the experience to work in almost any environment.

I have worked with young children (Ages 2 1/2 and up)

Elementary students (grades 1-5)

Middle School and Highschool students (grades 6-12)

And adults (18+)

Special Needs students (Grades 1-12)

I would make sure you check out the teachers experience and skill level. Check out their recent work or dance reel that way you will know what you are getting into beforehand.

The best questions I'd think through are

1) am I willing to learn?

2) do I care about this enough to put in the effort required?

3) can I trust myself to be responsible for my actions

4) do I have fun?
