Hi! I'd like to help you learn how to dance! I love teaching and growing artists in the world of dance training! I use a highly specialized dance program designed to help each student promote a healthy lifestyle, excellent life skills, artistry, technical ability, determination and passion.
Ive been dancing for 20 years At Christian Performing Arts Center, Honolulu Dance Studio, Pas De Deux dance studio and others. My teaching experience is 10 years+ (Ages 3-Adult) with a specialty for special needs children.
I teach Ballet, Tap, and Jazz with a proficency level of Beginner through advanced technique, building muscle coordination, style, strength and skill to transition from the amateur to professional settings if desired.
I create a fun environment for each student, structured, orderly and inviting where each student gets to excell at his or her own pace.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 20 years of dance experience in a wide variety of dance styles. Mainly trained in Vaganova style Ballet training and classical jazz technique.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Cost ranges from $80-$100 per Lesson
(this includes a warm-up, technique, style instruction or choreography and cool down)
*stylized choreography, number of performers and distance extra
How did you get started teaching?
I started teacher training at my home studio while I was still in Highschool. From there I worked in local studios, churches, private events and clients which has given me the experience to work in almost any environment.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with young children (Ages 2 1/2 and up)
Elementary students (grades 1-5)
Middle School and Highschool students (grades 6-12)
And adults (18+)
Special Needs students (Grades 1-12)

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
I would make sure you check out the teachers experience and skill level. Check out their recent work or dance reel that way you will know what you are getting into beforehand.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
The best questions I'd think through are
1) am I willing to learn?
2) do I care about this enough to put in the effort required?
3) can I trust myself to be responsible for my actions
4) do I have fun?
