There has not been one day or night in my very busy 38 years of performing concerts, clubs, parties, weddings, and funerals that I have not LOVED GOING TO WORK. I found putting that love and enthusiasm and training in the hands of aspiring singers quickly became a tremendously exciting task for me because I know how to break it down and deliver technique tailored to each students ability to understand and apply to get results! My selfish joy is another singers success!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Our first lesson I will talk a little more than I will ever talk again, explaining a few details about the three awesome jobs your vocal cords have and how they work together with your diaphragm and abdominal muscles to make you STRONG, HEALTHY, and a vocalists with BEAUTIFUL TONE! You'll love it! Then, like every other lesson, we stand up and stretch, go to the piano and work easy yet NECESSARY SCALES, and then we SING! You work on almost ANY songs that make you happy or that you are working on for a project, and we put your training to work to make you the best singer possible NOW!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I sing for a living! It's why after 38 years of loving being a non stop professional entertainer, and teaching since 2001, I know what I know what I know! I have studied extensively with six prominent vocal coaches in the Los Angeles area in 30 years and study the voice continually to stay abreast of techniques and concerns for serious singers. I have developed classroom curriculums, and innovative techniques and vocal health remedies to keep singers SINGING at their peak performance levels.
