Clarinet And Audition Prep
About
I have been teaching lessons since 2009 to students of all ages. I have been playing professionally since 2010. I really enjoy helping students learn and grow on the clarinet. The clarinet has brought so much joy into my life and I like sharing that with others. I have also taken countless orchestral auditions and have won many jobs. I hold degrees from UCLA and the University of North Texas.
When the world is stressful, the clarinet is where I go to find stillness and peace. I love playing clsssical music. I also love the process of always looking for ways to improve. My favorite composer is Sergei Rachmaninoff.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
During the first lesson, I like to hear about what the students goals are. Why are you wanting to take lessons? What do you want to get better at? Then, I like to hear the student play music that they're comfortable with. I will often ask the student about the type of equipment they're playing on too during a first lesson. All of this helps inform me on what our next steps should be in order to help you reach your goals.
