About
I am a very detailed vocal instructor that specializes in vocal technique that will help you sing any genre of music, and help make you a confident singer. I was trained by world known baritone Vladimir Chernov at UCLA, and I teach my students what he taught me! All of my students improve even in the first lesson, and are pleasantly surprized!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I ask what their goals are, what type of music they will be singing. Then I teach them warm-up and exercises to expand range, explain the anatomy of the voice, jaw, mouth, vocal chords and how to support your voice with breath control. I make sure you are breathing correctly to always support your voice.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I had a vocal scholarship when I attended CalState Long Beach, and started teaching singing lessons when I was a junior. Then I continued my vocal training for 8 years with my mentor Vladimir Chernov, while also teaching a variety of students from my home and sometimes from UCLA studios. I also have many years of performance exprience in classical, jazz and rock. I am also a redording artist.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
$50 per hour, but if you pay for 4 lessons ahead of time $40 per hour.
How did you get started teaching?
When I was attending Calstate Long Beach, I took on some freshman students.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with many types of students from ages 12-50. I also work with special needs students, 2 of my students have Autism. I work with students who are involved with all genres of music, because with god technique you can sing any thing! :)
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
My student Jarred Warren recieved a long term contract with Disney Tokyo, and he has me to think. He wrote a review about how taking lessons with me landed him the job, and that makes me so happy!
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
You will see instant results when you come to me, even in the first lesson! I teach at a UCLA level, because that is where I was trained.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Are you ready to devote some time and energy into your voice? You need to come to a lesson at least once a week, or 3 times a month to get results. Are you ready to also put time into practice when you are on your own?
