I played high school tennis (both singles and doubles) in my home town of Wilbraham, Massachusetts. In the summers between college semesters, I ran a tennis camp for kids through my high school. The camp would host about 20 kids per week. After that, I worked at a country club in Western Mass, giving lessons to both children and adults, and overseeing club tournaments. I'm eager to get out on the courts in Southern California, and help people of all ages fall in love with the sport the way I have!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First, I have to gage the client's skill level. After that, we either work on very basic strokes and footwork, to more high level material like different types of serves, strategy (approach shots, etc), top spin, slice, and so on.
